The Schroeder Family Exploreum is proud to introduce its brand-new robot mascot, a friendly and curious character designed to spark imagination, inspire discovery, and bring STEAM learning to life for visitors of all ages. To mark the occasion, the organization is launching a community-wide naming contest and inviting the public to help shape the mascot’s identity.

From April 13 through May 8, innovators, thinkers, and creators are encouraged to submit one original name idea as part of this STEAM-inspired challenge celebrating science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

“We’re excited to give our community a chance to be part of this moment as we prepare to open a portion of the Exploreum,” said Neely Myers, Executive Director. “This robot represents curiosity and creativity—and we’re looking for a name that captures that spirit.”

Participants can submit their entry by emailing neely@creativelearningalliance with the subject line “Mascot Contest.” Each person may submit one name. Entries should be imaginative, original, and reflective of the wonder and innovation at the heart of STEAM learning.

The winning name will be revealed during a special celebration at the science center on June 6, where the creator of the selected name will be recognized.
