Designed as an immersive, family-friendly STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) center, the Exploreum invites visitors of all ages to touch, build, experiment, and imagine.

    From the moment guests walk through the doors, they are welcomed into a vibrant space filled with energy, color, and possibility. Every corner of the Exploreum has been thoughtfully created to spark curiosity—whether it’s a child launching their first mini rocket, a teenager experimenting with robotics, or a parent rediscovering the wonder of physics through interactive exhibits. This isn’t a place where you simply observe science; it’s a place where you become part of it.

    The grand opening celebration will showcase a few never-before-seen exhibits, some of your favorites, but all designed to challenge the mind and ignite creativity. While this is only the beginning of what the Exploreum will bring to the region with the North wing while we continue to build out the South wing, we KNOW you'll find something to spark your love of STEAM!

    National STEAM/STEM Day is a chance to celebrate science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

    Our National STEAM/STEM Day Festival is a chance to celebrate science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. We get to engage, excite, and inspire the imagination of what STEAM-related careers are, and what they offer. Activities will include local manufacturers, healthcare entities, businesses, and organizations providing hands-on STEAM demonstrations and projects.

    Vendors will include: Allo, EaglePicher Technologies, Four States Museum of Natural Sciences, Journey Through Slime, Leggett & Platt, Missouri American Water, Network Dr., Spiva Center for the Arts, and Wildcat Glades.
